About Star Meridian Sports

Star Meridian Sports Ltd is a special vehicle set up as an enabling company dedicated to the promotion and hosting of International sporting events to benefit from this peaceful and enjoyable industry. Our business is to network with other sporting associations, organisations and the news media to achieve maximum success. We are intent on hosting football events to be staged in the United Kingdom between nations and we hope by this means, to be able to contribute towards the goodwill that football sports offers the world.

Though not a charity organisation in itself, Star Meridian Sports Ltd is a young company established by similar minded business men with extensive contacts in the industry to work for the profit the business can bring but with the difference that our running business be inalienably tied to benevolence.

This year, Star Meridian Sports Ltd has the honour to organise and host a special international friendly football match in London between Egypt and South Africa in collaboration with Brentford Football Club to be played at Griffin Park on 15th November 2006.

This opportunity is in the very heart of our ethical business practice whereby we make money as a company while helping selected charities with donations.

The norm in the hard nosed business world is for entrepreneurs to aim at maximisation of profits. Part of this profit is normally ploughed back into the companies as investment to augment company growth. However, most companies keep a budget for charitable donations. We also know that extremely wealthy people such as Bill Gates of Microsoft and the founder of phones4U and several others have recently retired from their long established profitable business empires and set up foundations either to support their own charities or to fund selected charitable organisations.

In this match as in others we are campaigning and soliciting for sponsorship from all willing companies and donors.

For this purpose Star Meridian Sports Ltd. have engaged IFA- as our partners to propose and manage a selection of deserving charities
